Origins & Future.
I.R.I.S. Technologies developed its coating technology over
5 years ago for use by the Department of Defense in an effort
to keep electronics cool in advanced weapon systems
(XM-29). The ability to operate a thermal imager in a desert
environment without over heating (causing a "white-out") has
been a challenge for years, especially when encased in a
tactical black housing.
I.R.I.S.'s creator developed a tactical black CARC (chemical
agent resistant coating) that solved the thermal imagers
"white-out" problems by keeping the housings surface 36°F
cooler than the current tactical black CARC.
Five years later, this technology is perfected and available for
residential and commercial use.

We are currently in the final stages of the XM-29's testing and anticipate full scale
production to commence mid 2008.
I.R.I.S. is now available to the public and is being evaluated by several contractors for use
in both residential and commercial construction projects.
Eco-Safety Products To Distribute I.R.I.S. To Green Building Suppliers Nationwide
ThermaPrime and ThermaShield IRR are going to be available nationwide very soon
through Eco-Safety Products distribution network. Eco-Safety Products will be selling the
two I.R.I.S. products under a private label but the product names will remain the same.
Product roll-out will start in the southern states throughout 2008 and in 2009 these
products will be available in regional locations throughout the United States.
